PRIVACY NOTICE | EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR)
Studio Visani complies with the fundamental principles governing the protection of personal data established by EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Directive 95/46/EC. Any data collected that is capable of identifying a person will be used exclusively in accordance with the applicable procedures and for the purposes previously communicated to the data subject, and only where the data subject has provided explicit consent in cases required by law. All personal data will be stored with accuracy and care in order to ensure its integrity and quality. Such data will not be disclosed or communicated except in the cases provided for by law and according to the methods permitted.
Data Controller
Pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Italian Privacy Code), Studio Visani, with registered office in Via XX Settembre 15, Faenza (RA), is the Data Controller, pursuant to Article 28 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, of your personal data. Personal data acquired, including in connection with existing and/or future commercial relationships, is processed in compliance with the above-mentioned legislation. In relation to such processing, the Controller provides the following information.
Place of Data Processing
Studio Visani, headquartered in Via XX Settembre 15 in Faenza, 48018 (RA), Italy.
Types of Data Processed
Personal and identifying data as defined in Article 4, letters b) and c) of Legislative Decree 196/03, as well as any information regarding a natural or legal person, a public administration, or any other entity, association, or organization responsible for periodically backing up databases, identification data, traffic data, and anonymous data. In addition, browsing data, the computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website may acquire, during their normal operation, your personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information, however, is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server response (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment. This data is used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on site usage and to verify its proper functioning, and is deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain liability in the event of hypothetical cybercrimes against the site.
Optional Nature of Data Provision
Except for browsing data, the user is free to provide personal data in the request forms or in the “Contacts” section to request information or communications. Failure to provide such data may make it impossible to obtain the requested services, as detailed below.
Purposes of Processing
Personal data are processed for the following purposes:
- execution of existing and/or future business relationships with you;
- fulfillment of legal obligations related to the aforementioned business relationship;
- organizational management of any existing and/or emerging business relationship.

Data Provided Voluntarily by the User
The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of emails to the addresses indicated on this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, which is necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message. Specific summary information will be progressively reported or displayed on the site pages dedicated to particular services upon request.
Data Retention Period
Data will be processed for the duration of the commercial relationship and for ten years following acquisition. Unless otherwise indicated by the data subject, data will be deleted from the server at the end of the ten-year period.
Cookies
Cookies consist of a small amount of text information sent to your computer and stored in your web browser while you visit a website. Their purpose is to record, and sometimes track, information about your user experience. The Firm does not control any personal information shared on such public forums and the user is solely responsible for any disclosure.
Methods of Processing
Personal data will be processed in paper, computerized, and electronic form and entered into relevant databases. These databases will be accessed and thus disclosed to operators expressly designated by the Data Controller as Data Processors and Persons in Charge of Personal Data Processing. These operators may consult, use, process, compare, and perform any other appropriate operations, including automated operations, in compliance with the legal provisions necessary to guarantee, among other things, the confidentiality and security of the data, as well as the accuracy, updating, and relevance of the data for the stated purposes.
Data Collected
The data collected essentially relates to: Identification data (company name or name, i.e., first and last name of natural persons, registered office address, telephone number, fax number, email address, tax information, etc.); data relating to economic and commercial activity (for example, but not limited to: order collection, contracts signed, competitions, solvency, banking and financial information, accounting and tax information, etc.).
These data are provided directly by the Customer/Data Subject or may be collected from independent third-party Data Controllers and/or external Data Processors on behalf of the Data Controller. The data collected may, on a residual basis, be of a sensitive and/or judicial nature. In this case, they will be processed with the protections required by law and in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
Nature of Data Provision
Providing data and its processing are mandatory for purposes 1, 2, 3 and 4. Refusal makes it impossible for the Controller to establish or maintain contractual and legal obligations.
Scope of Data Disclosure and Communication
In relation to the purposes indicated, the data may be disclosed to the following entities and/or categories of entities listed below, or may be disclosed to companies and/or individuals, both in Italy and abroad, who provide services, including external ones, on behalf of the Data Controller. For greater clarity, these include:
- Companies collaborating with the Data Controller;
- companies affiliated and/or connected to the Data Controller;
- financial authorities and other public companies or entities in compliance with regulatory obligations;
- competent authorities and/or supervisory bodies for the fulfillment of legal obligations;
- companies and law firms for the protection of contractual rights;
Rights of the Data Subject
In relation to the aforementioned processing, you may exercise the rights set forth in Article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, such as:
- obtain confirmation as to whether or not data concerning you exists;
- know the origin of the data, the logic behind it, and the purpose of the processing;
- obtain the erasure, anonymization, or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, as well as the updating, rectification, and integration of the data;
- object, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of the data;
